Here’s a preview of the topics and sessions shaping Code & Compliance Community Day 2025, taking place October 22–23, 2025 in Brussels. This event brings together open source maintainers, compliance leads, manufacturers, and institutional stakeholders to reflect on the Cyber Resilience Act’s (CRA) first year and help shape what comes next.

Agenda highlights

On October 22, the program kicks off with an afternoon session to frame the community’s shared purpose, followed by a full day of sessions on October 23. These sessions include:

Opening Session: Setting the Stage for CRA Readiness
This opening block will frame the day’s discussions with a deep dive into the evolving stewardship role under the CRA and explore the importance of attestations in demonstrating compliance. It sets the foundation for the workshop sessions that follow.
Attestations Workshop
An interactive session on producing and managing attestations to meet CRA compliance requirements, with practical examples and discussion.
Sessions on Modern Tooling for Compliance and Collaboration
Explore the latest tools and frameworks designed to support CRA readiness, streamline attestations, and enhance collaboration across the software supply chain.
Sessions Exploring the Evolving Roles of Manufacturers, Maintainers, and Stewards
Delve into how the CRA is redefining responsibilities, accountability, and cooperation between upstream and downstream stakeholders.

Co‑located: Solving the Standardisation Dilemma

Ahead of the Code & Compliance programming, Open Forum Europe will host a roundtable on standardisation reform, titled “Solving the Standardisation Dilemma.” This event explores whether Europe’s Standardisation System can adapt to fast‑moving, agile software sectors like open source, or if structural reform is needed.
