ORC Monthly: Shape the next ORC events and join the attestations project

Our first Code & Compliance event was a success! Thank you to everyone who joined, asked tough questions, and shared insights across talks and panels. A particular highlight was the Attestations workshop, which sparked constructive debates and set us up for continued conversations in the coming months. The session recordings are now available on YouTube.
We’re already looking ahead with the next Code & Compliance booked for 29 January 2026 in Brussels (ahead of FOSDEM). We’d love your proposals and ideas; submit them through the call for proposals and help shape the program.

What’s New
- Mark your calendars for the next Code & Compliance: We’ll be back in Brussels 29 January 2026. The next Code & Compliance event will take place ahead of FOSDEM, offering another opportunity for developers, policymakers, and compliance professionals to meet in person. The call for proposals is open until 25 November 2025. We encourage everyone to share ideas for sessions, panels, and workshops that help us prepare for the Cyber Resilience Act.
- Voluntary Security Attestations: Following a productive workshop at Code & Compliance, work has begun to turn community ideas into practice. The new Voluntary Security Attestations Project is now live on GitHub. For background and context, read this blog post by Æva Black. To get involved, join the bi-weekly Tuesday calls listed on the community calendar.
- ORC at OCX 2026: The Open Community for Compliance track is the place for the ORC community at OCX 2026, and the call for proposals is now open. This track will spotlight how open collaboration shapes regulatory readiness and secure development practices.
